GIARDINI MUSICANICI (with Format -Architetture sonore)

Strolling through town it happens sometimes to find a shadowly and noiseless spot. - Some silence, at least - one thinks. After a while one becomes aware of the sounds one perceives: a car passing by, a child at play, a chisel of mason in the vis-a-vis house, the leaves of a tree moving in the wind. The dwellers of this echo-system exchange messages. That's what happens in the GIARDINI MUSICANICI. A secluded space where living organisms - electromechanical plants - send messages about their presence and their activity to other beings. A place which exist prioer to our visit and which thus should be explored with curiosity and rispectful silence.

from 1985 Torino, Firenze, Settignano, Valencia (E), L'aquila, Bolzano, Salerno.
