Four microphones pick up sounds in four different environments: these sounds can be intentional or not. Each microphone enters into a ring modulator with each other. The ring modulator is a particular treatment, which transform two sounds in one other, but only when the both are present at the same time, and it is silent when the both are absent or when only one of these is present: so it is also a revealer of simultaneity.
